This training, compliant with the curriculum of the International TRIZ Association, is based on real-world examples of successfully implemented innovations.
The course will be conducted in English, online on December 2, 3, 4, and 9, 10, 2025 (5 days) and will conclude with the official MATRIZ certification exam.
Participation cost: 1100 euro or 4700 polish zloty (excl. VAT).
Designed for candidates aspiring to become Level 1 MATRIZ specialists, the program equips participants with the skills needed to immediately begin developing product innovations. Attendees will learn analytical tools and acquire the knowledge required to accurately formulate physical and technical contradictions, as well as systematically resolve them using algorithmic methodologies.

This training, compliant with the curriculum of the International TRIZ Association, is based on real-world examples of successfully implemented innovations.
The course will be conducted in English, online on May 4, 5, 6, and 11, 12, 13, 2026 (6 days) and will conclude with the official MATRIZ certification exam.
Participation cost: 1750 EURO / 1950 USD or 7400 Polish Zloty (excl. VAT).
The price includes the cost of printed training materials and the Level 2 TRIZ textbook, as well as their delivery to the participant by mail.
Designed for candidates aspiring to become Level 2 MATRIZ specialists. The training is intended for individuals who have completed the MATRIZ Level 1 course and aims to familiarize participants with advanced TRIZ tools to develop skills in process innovation. Some of the most interesting tools included in the Level 2 program are standard inventive solutions, ARIZ with its powerful capabilities, and FOS (Function-Oriented Search). Dr. Sergei Ikovenko
A long-standing collaborator and Novismo’s lead mentor, involved with the company since its founding. He is recognized as one of the world’s leading consultants in technological innovation. An Associate Professor at MIT (Cambridge, USA), Tufts University (Boston, MA), and Tongji University (Intellectual Property College, Shanghai, China), and an Honorary Professor at the University of Edinburgh (UK). He has delivered TRIZ seminars at Harvard, Carnegie Mellon, Stanford, Vanderbilt, Caltech, and many other top academic institutions around the globe. A TRIZ Master and Chair of the Council on Expertise and Methodology (CEM) at MATRIZ. He is the author of over 100 publications, holder of 134 international patents, and co-author of five books. He is also the creator of the DFP (Design for Patentability) methodology. Over the course of his career, he has conducted more than 1,000 innovation and TRIZ training programs for Fortune 500 companies worldwide. As a lead trainer, he has implemented corporate TRIZ education programs at Procter & Gamble (training approx. 1,500 engineers in three years), Mitsubishi Research Institute (300 engineers), Samsung (900 engineers), and Intel (500 participants). For the past 10 years, he has served as the chief innovation instructor for the Siemens Innovation Academy and General Electric Global Research (over 1,800 scientists trained), and for 11 years has led the TRIZ Innovation Initiative at Hyundai Motor Company (over 500 participants). Training Programs
Certification training in accordance with theprogram of the International TRIZ Association
The course is dedicated to candidates for MATRIZ Level 1 specialists and covers material that enables them to efficiently create product innovations immediately upon completion. Participants will become familiar with analytical tools and knowledge that allow them to correctly formulate physical and technical contradictions and systematically approach their resolution using procedural algorithms. The training is conducted either online or in-person and includes interactive exercises and short assignments in addition to lectures.
The two-day workshops aim to provide practical training based on the knowledge acquired during the certification course. They are conducted using the same tools that TRIZ practitioners work with daily. The workshops focus on selected, real-world challenges from enterprises, which are then specially adapted for educational purposes.
The training is intended for individuals who have completed the MATRIZ Level 1 course and aims to familiarize participants with advanced TRIZ tools to develop skills in process innovation. Some of the most interesting tools included in the Level 2 program are standard inventive solutions, ARIZ with its powerful capabilities, and FOS (Function-Oriented Search). The training consists of lectures and practical exercises.
The MATRIZ Level 3 training is designed for individuals who hold MATRIZ Level 1 and 2 certifications and intend to professionally apply the TRIZ methodology in their work—whether managing innovation processes, leading R&D teams utilizing TRIZ, or conducting training sessions. A Level 3 participant gains comprehensive theoretical knowledge, with further development achieved through solving real-world challenges and creating innovations in a practical manner.
Specialists who hold a MATRIZ Level 3 certification and have practical experience in problem-solving can apply for a Level 4 certification. This involves demonstrating proficiency in using TRIZ tools and their practical application in an innovation project, documented in a final project report, before an examination committee.
The L4 qualification course supports participants and prepares them for their project defense through:
- Discussing the requirements and documents that need to be submitted to MATRIZ.
- An individual assessment of the participant’s knowledge and readiness for the L4 exam.
- Personalized sessions covering project selection, creating an individual project roadmap, consulting and reviewing project stages, as well as verifying the project’s accuracy and presentation.
- A preliminary mock project defense.
The workshops involve working on a real task provided by the client and applying the TRIZ tools learned during the theoretical training. The outcome will be newly developed solution concepts that could serve as a foundation for implementing innovation in the company.

We are the first and only organization in Poland accredited to certify specialists at the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd levels of knowledge by the International TRIZ Association (MATRIZ).
